About Me

My passion in life is people, from a very early age I was interested in understanding what made people feel the way they do. It is this passion that motivates me to help people feel better. I work with both individuals and couples.

My qualified counselling approach is Person Centered Counselling, this style of counselling believes in the ability and qualities of an individual to determine what it is that will make them feel better. My role is to facilitate a person’s journey by providing them with a safe place to explore and understand their feelings. I do this without judgement or recriminations and dedication to helping a person gain clarity on past experiences and how they may be affecting how they feel in the present, which in turn can impact on their future.

Occasionally, people are not ready for counselling, but I still wanted to be able to help or support someone.  I developed my abilities by obtaining a coaching qualification, this had broadened by skillset and enables me to facilitate your learning.  The process is more proactive on both sides and works more cognitively to help you move forward.

I pride myself, and my ability to put people at ease and am often told that people find me easy to talk to. I find this helps in building an effective counselling relationship, as all too often people fear taking that first step in accessing counselling. I firmly believe giving yourself the opportunity and time to work through any potential issue is the best investment a person can make in themselves.
